First day of XC practice!!!! We ran a nice easy 3 past the fire station. I felt really good for the first run being back from a break.

Nice easy run out to sandburgs, I felt really nice and smooth today. Didn't jump in the pond because I had to go to work. Its a bummer I have to leave so fast everyday after and I cant sit and talk.

Today we had our first workout of the season! it was 6 minutes hard, my goal was to make it a mile because it was on grass and im out of shape. When we started I was right behind Byron and Abel so I hung back a bit so I wouldn't die out. I ran pretty consistent splits and felt like I pushed myself a lot. I got almost exactly to the mile mark, not the placing on the team I wanted but I got my goal I started with. This year is going to be great!

Ran 2 laps on the dirt mile today. Felt really nice and relaxed, started getting a little antsy towards the end of the second one though.

woke up late so I had to run on my own. Nice easy run other than my calf hurt a little bit I'll stretch it good and see what happens.

Today we had kinda a workout thing of running 2 laps of the kings cross maverik loop. We were supposed to run the maverick straight hard and it was really hard lots of people dropped off glad I could stay in there, when I was getting tired matt really helped push me literally he pushed me... Legs feel really tired but good to get a hard run in.

Me and reed woke up at 6 to run up at student council camp. Not the best idea because we stayed up till 1 so we were like walking zombies the rest of the day.

Today we had a workout of 15 minutes hard on the dirt mile. I was ready for this and wanted to finish in the top 10 on the team. I took out a little too hard and died a little in the middle but pushed through it and started passing lots of people at about the mile mark. I ended up 11th on the team but I was really close to nick and dave, I am almost right were I want to be, I felt like I am getting good at pushing through the wall it only took me three years to figure it out. I went 2 miles and 654 meters

Well today the mile total was supposed to be 4, but at the end my watch said 6.5. Today we had our 30/30 workout and I was supposed to get 134 meters. It was all in all pretty easy, at about 25 it started hurting but at about 30 it was all mental. I got a good pacing down so that I would hit right on the mark every time, other than the time I fell flat on my butt in the slippery part and had to sprint to make my goal. Coach stopped us at 40, but i felt like I could have gone a lot longer if I had to.

4 with striders on the grass. I felt really sluggish today and it was a lot harder then it needed to be.

Today we did 2xparkway hills. It was hard today we were going fast and it was really hot. The second one I had to push really hard but I stayed up with them, I was pushing so hard and the whole time thinking of some line from princess bride saying you will reach the top.

Today we had a run out on mustang pass. We wandered around for about 2 miles of it. It is starting to get really hot outside I was dying by the end of the run!

just a nice easy 4 in the morning. Even early in the morning it is still super hot not looking forword to that. Legs felt tired from this weeks workouts.
