AM 8- repeats today all in the 6:00-5:54 range. Felt really relaxed thinking of the positives in my running.

PM 3-after a long day of homework and yardwork finally got out on my run, nice and slow.

PM-6 we had 8x400 at about 1:18 We hit all of our times right on our under so it was a good workout. The recovery was only a minute so by the end i was getting really tired! Felt great and great weather today.

This race was actually really good. The time may not show that but i felt it was. I started out more conservativly the first lap and ran a 1:13 and had a good second lap. Usually i die on the second lap but when i was done i still had so much more to give so i am excited for the next race for once.

AM-Biked to school this morning then had the usual 3 legs felt good.

Pm-had the usuall 4x1600's at 6:05. It was really windy and rainy so i didn't know what to expect. I just tried to run smooth and controlled i got a 5:59 5:59 5:59 and then the last one i ran with krenshaw pushing me and got 5:50. Felt really good and smooth this workout. Felt like i could have gone faster, i feel like i am in really good shape right now.

PM-6 We had 600 400 300 200 100 x2 all at race pace. I felt really good on these i tried to keep myself really smooth and controlled even though i was going face. My times for the first set were 1:58, 1:18 59, 38, 17,. I was tired at this point but not bad the recovery of only one hundred made it hard. The next set i was in the front and tried to push these but was still reallly relaxed. 1:57 1:17 58. 35, 16. The second set was alot faster. These past two workouts have made me really confident! Great workout other than i just remebered as im typing this i left my jacket on the track....

AM-7 Ran up in lehi. It was beautiful weather. I threw in a little tempo because im not racing today, there was a lot of hills it was hard.

Pm- 4x1600 It felt really hard today i got a bloody nose on the fourth one, I think i was dehydrated. My times were 5:55 6:00 5:55. Then had weights after and rode my bike home.

It is terrible about what happened in boston today.

Pm-We did a coe workout. it was 100, 110, 120,.....200 i started at a 20 and would get about a little less than a second faster each time. I hit my times on all of them but the second to last one. On my last one i got a 29. This workout really got me moving and helped my speed.

We had panther relays today and i treated it kind of like a workout. I got a 2:30 on the first 800, and a 2:32 on the next so pretty good.

Pm- coe workout #2. it was a 200, 220 ,240 260 280 300. My times were supposed to be 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50. The first 3 i was fast by 1 second and was still pretty controlled. The next one i hit a 47, then the next a 48, so that one was right on. The 300 i really focused on having quick feet i ended with a 45 i was really happy with this workout.

Today we had 8x400 at 1:17 because we didn't have a race today. The first one i went out a little fast and hit a 1:14 then the next three were 1:16 1:15 1:16. It was a hard workout because our times of recovery were 1:15 the first three then went down to 1 minute then 45 seconds. the next ones were 1:13 1:12 1:11 and the last one i really tried to have a quick turnover and i got a 1:08. Two good workouts in a row. I dont think i have ever ran a workout this good though! This workout was also hard because the entire group i was running with was behind me the entire time so i felt alone the whole time.

PM-Wow it was hot today!! Like the usual pre race day we ran sandburgs. It was a nice easy run, my legs hurt alot today though i think i could feel the 400 workout today. didn't jump in sandburgs cuz i had to go to the restroom so got back before everybody else and did my 4x200 alone they felt good.

Got there for the race and didn't really get a warmup. Once again i was just kinda not in the race it was the worst time i have ever gotten i couldn't get myself to move 5:48. I was super mad with myself i got that time on one of my repeats last week! After two of my best workouts of the year this week i have two of the worst races ever!
