woke up at about 10 then went for my run. I didn't go very fast i had alot of things on my mind so it was nice to get away from my loud house and think. My hip hurt alot today i stretched a lot when i got home.

Ran to green springs it was nice and easy. After played basketball for 2 hours. Our first game we played mike and casey we won!!! the second game against another ward it was.....close, the positive thing is they didn't double us.

Today before our run we tested our vertical jump i think i was 22 inches?? After jumping and all that fun stuff we ran out into middleton, it was alright my legs felt really tired and heavy today so i just stayed in the back.

First track workout we had 2x1 mile at 6:16 pace. Well me krenshaw, josh, and dave started going our first one was a 6:03 so pretty fast, even though it felt easy. The next one was a 5:57 this one started getting a tiny hard on the fourth lap but still easy. We should have slowed down more and just hit our times like we were supposed to it was a learning experience next time we will hit our times like we are supposed to and not go too fast.

After a long day of travel to Disneyworld me and Casey went out at about 9. We ran around this lake we guessed to be a mile and a half or more because Casey's watch wouldn't load!! It was a nice run other than it was super humid here I was completely soaked in sweat! Perfect tempest urges though it was 81 degrees when we ran.

Today went out on 5 we averaged 7:13 and had 4 far treks in there. It's funny everybody thinks we are running the marathon so they all tell us good luck. Oh and we wore a watch in the park today to see how far we walked we walked 7 miles!!

we did the kosmin test today i thought I did really well on this workout, i pushed myself when pain came usually I dont, also at the end it took my breathing and heartbeat forever to get down usually i dont try and it goes right back down. My legs have not hurt that bad in a long time. I made it 1380 meters. Weights after i am starting to lift alot more weight than i used to even with being super tired.

Woke up at 6 to run because i had flags at 7. The tempeture wasn't that bad actually i was surprised. At the beggining of my run 3 runners came by and so i ran and talked with them for 4 miles going a decent pace. They were really nice, fun talking to new people on a run.

had mile repeats today and because of my kosmint test i was supposed to hit 5:52. The first one i felt totally fine and it felt easy and i hit this one in 5:46 the next one i was feeling a good again but on the 4th lap my leg started cramping and i finished that one in 5:54. The third one i started and after the first lap my leg cramped like crazy to were i could barely run i hit the 800 in 2:55 and had to stop for cramping and just jogged around a little to try to see if it would go away. I really need to drink water more, it was a bummer because i was feeling so strong. After had weights i did 13 pull ups!

PM-8 Today we had a 24 AT tempo. I was supposed to hit 6:00 as my average. This run started and i knew i would be completely  alone the entire time. About 15 minutes in my form got bad so i just tried to focus on relaxing my breathing which helped alot. I didn't have a watch so i didn't know where we were at really. I averaged i belive about a 6:02 or around there which is actually a new pr! once again i am a workout hero why can i not do this in races.

Today we ran up greensprings with 1x2 minute fartlek and 2x1 minute fartlek. The two minute one i felt fine and stayed basiclly right up next to the group. The next one i was about 10 feet back on, The final one i pushed hard and didn't fall back at all i was actually somewhat in the front. After that just a nice easy run. We also had striders and weights.

Ran at 10 with some of the guys. i Was feeling really horrible the first mile of our 20 minute tempo and ran in the 6:30 range the next mile i hit a 5:38 i was feeling warmed up now and i finished the run well. I averaged a 6:13 not to great but i will improve next week

Pm- we had 4x1600. Today i wasn't feeling good i can tell im starting to get sick. On the warm up my legs were just dead it felt like i had just ran a workout. Our first one was 6:02 way off i am supposed to get 5:45 the next 3 i got 6:01 on all of them it was really frustrating i just felt horrible today at least i kept my times consistent even if they were bad. Lifting after.

Pm-Today we had a 24 minute At tempo. I started off with Andrew and we were running really well, my breathing was a little wack at the beggining but i got it under control. The whole time in my mind was i cant let Andrew pass me, slowly he dropped though so i was alone for about the last mile, I felt a lot smoother today and had an average of 6:01 about same time as last week, if this is any indication of how my season is gonna go i am so excited because usually my times are much slower

Today we had 2x800 on old man hills. My legs were really tired cuz i didn't stretch yesterday, guess that will teach me to stretch. I didn't feel to good today, I didn't do horrible just not as good as i would have liked. I stayed behind dave most of the time. Not the best but i guess you win some and you lose some. Am-8 Ran 30 minute tempo with krenshaw this morning. The first mile we hit a 5:50 and i felt fine. After that my hip started acting up and hurt alot, so i stayed about 10-15 feet back from krenshaw until i got lost on the turn on the river trail and wandered a little bit. I still hit a solid tempo with an average of about 6:05-6:10 so not that bad but not as good as last week. I strtetched and rolled so my hips feel better

Pm-8 Had our 30 minute tempo today! i wasn't feeling to good before so i decided to slow the pace just a little, and ran with stoner and jake it was still a hard pace but easy enough where i could still talk and got the legs sore. Average was 6:35 I belive.

Pm-6 Just a nice easy recovery day, so nice in fact that all twenty boys took their shirts off, what a white thing to see. It was a nice easy run, we had a strong pace towards the end. Stretched for about 15 minutes after the run.

Pm-5.5 was worried because i was super tired from singing all day but once i was running i wasn't tired at all actually. We had 10x400 i was supposed to hit 40's so my times were 40, 40, 40, 39, 40, 40, 40, 40, 40, 40. It seemed effortless to get these times to so it was a nice easy workout for me. I feel like i could do a lot more of these.

PM-7 Ran a little warm up because i was late and then had 200's I did most of them alone. In my head for some reason i was thinking 20 but then on number 17 i rembered that we only had 14...my bad. My splits were 39,39,39,39,39,38,39,38,39,39,39,31 got a little excited there haha 39,39,39,29 (i thought my watch said 29 so i thought i was going slow so i sped up a lot but it turns out it said 19) 39. Did a nice cool down and stretched a little

AM-4 3 with striders. Striders froze our feet!!

PM-8 4x1600 with a pace of 6:16. It felt really smooth and controlled the whole time. 6:04 6:10 6:04 5:54. Last one got a little antsy we were already a few seconds ahead and then coach told me to take the lead so i surged to take the lead so we dropped a few seconds there.

PM-8 with 20 minute tempo. The entire tempo i was probobly about 20 yards behind krenshaw i couldn't catch up to him! My muscle up in my inner thigh area hurt alot again today. I might do some yoga tonigth and that might help. My average pace was about a 6:05

7-Was feeling alot better today so went out for my run. Me and kyler ran this huge long loop, we kept the pace at low 7's. I kinda got sidetracked and forgot about going hard for the last 2 miles until about a mile left so i only went a mile hard.

AM-8 We had 4x1600. I was late so i did the warm up fast. When we started i just tried to stay relaxed the first one we came through nice and easy in 6:04. The next two felt a little harder but still consistent times 6:04. 6:02. The last one felt like i was trying to hard i was really tired but i still hit a good time 5:58. Its really nice having Dave and Josh to run with they make it so much easier.

PM-4 Ran right after dinner....worst idea every side cramps like crazy. It was a really slow run but i got it done

AM-10 miles with 20 minute AT pace. I was late because i had to drop off my japanese students so i had to do it all alone. I worked on keeping relaxed and was good until about 15 minutes, when i started getting tired my form and breathing went bad. Overall though a good tempo average pace was a 6:01 Which is the same as the last few weeks.

AM-9.75 we had 3 sets of 800 400 200 on old man hills. I got there late again so i started when they were on their second set. My times for the first set were 3:00, 2:24, 39. The second set i focused on staying relaxed my times were 3:00, 2:24, 39 happy i got the exact same times as the first set. The last set i had to do completly alone so it was harder my times were 3:00, 2:26, 40. Good workout maybe went a little to hard though.

AM-6 we had 5x800 at race pace which was 2:40. After the first one i knew this workout was going to be pretty hard. My plan was run about a 1:15 first lap just in case i died on the second. My times were 2:40 2:41 2:40 2:40. on the fourth one something in my head started hurting and i got really dizzy so i sat down for awhile. went home and took some ibeauprofen.

This race was alright. It just felt good to get a race in after not racing for months. The first lap i felt really nice and controlled it was a 1:05. The second lap came and the pain came and i wasn't used to it i backed off alot, i need to push throught that. I really like the 800 It was only my third time racing it, I want to race it more this season i think if i do i can get my time down into the low teens.

Pm-we had 4x1200 with the first two laps being 1:30 then the next a 1:26 or so. Me and dave hit the right time every time i believe it just felt sooo much harder than usual to even go that 1:30 pace i think i was dehydrated. We had 2x300 all out at the end. I really dug deep on these and got my turnover good i got a 42 on the first one and a 45 the next one. I dont think my legs have ever hurt that bad after a workout they were jello, and cramping all over. Which was a mix of dehydration and working hard. I signed up for the 800 because i liked it alot when i ran it friday i wanna get a 2:19

I started out and i went down this straight stretch of road that felt like forever it ended up being around 3 miles and then i went through a little neighborhood. AM-Biked to school this morning then had the usual 3 legs felt good.

Pm-had the usuall 4x1600's at 6:05. It was really windy and rainy so i didn't know what to expect. I just tried to run smooth and controlled i got a 5:59 5:59 5:59 and then the last one i ran with krenshaw pushing me and got 5:50. Felt really good and smooth this workout. Felt like i could have gone faster, i feel like i am in really good shape right now.

PM-6 We had 600 400 300 200 100 x2 all at race pace. I felt really good on these i tried to keep myself really smooth and controlled even though i was going face. My times for the first set were 1:58, 1:18 59, 38, 17,. I was tired at this point but not bad the recovery of only one hundred made it hard. The next set i was in the front and tried to push these but was still reallly relaxed. 1:57 1:17 58. 35, 16. The second set was alot faster. These past two workouts have made me really confident! Great workout other than i just remebered as im typing this i left my jacket on the track....

Pm-We did a coe workout. it was 100, 110, 120,.....200 i started at a 20 and would get about a little less than a second faster each time. I hit my times on all of them but the second to last one. On my last one i got a 29. This workout really got me moving and helped my speed.

Pm- coe workout #2. it was a 200, 220 ,240 260 280 300. My times were supposed to be 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50. The first 3 i was fast by 1 second and was still pretty controlled. The next one i hit a 47, then the next a 48, so that one was right on. The 300 i really focused on having quick feet i ended with a 45 i was really happy with this workout.

Today we had 8x400 at 1:17 because we didn't have a race today. The first one i went out a little fast and hit a 1:14 then the next three were 1:16 1:15 1:16. It was a hard workout because our times of recovery were 1:15 the first three then went down to 1 minute then 45 seconds. the next ones were 1:13 1:12 1:11 and the last one i really tried to have a quick turnover and i got a 1:08. Two good workouts in a row. I dont think i have ever ran a workout this good though! This workout was also hard because the entire group i was running with was behind me the entire time so i felt alone the whole time.

I didn't know if i should enter this in as a race or not. I decided to because it was a new pr. I felt really nice and relaxed during this and had even splits of a 1:20 every lap. I felt really smooth and i didn't get down on myself when i got passed once. I reallly like where coach put out the cones to surge it helped alot, and when he shoved me the last lap. This race gave me a lot of confidence going into the meet this week and i know how good i can do!

Today I decided to ride with my dad and his buddies. We rode 51 miles and averaged 17.5 It was really hard at about mile 30 and really helped me with my mental toughness I am exhausted.

First day of XC practice!!!! We ran a nice easy 3 past the fire station. I felt really good for the first run being back from a break.

Nice easy run out to sandburgs, I felt really nice and smooth today. Didn't jump in the pond because I had to go to work. Its a bummer I have to leave so fast everyday after and I cant sit and talk.

Today we had our first workout of the season! it was 6 minutes hard, my goal was to make it a mile because it was on grass and im out of shape. When we started I was right behind Byron and Abel so I hung back a bit so I wouldn't die out. I ran pretty consistent splits and felt like I pushed myself a lot. I got almost exactly to the mile mark, not the placing on the team I wanted but I got my goal I started with. This year is going to be great!

Today we had kinda a workout thing of running 2 laps of the kings cross maverik loop. We were supposed to run the maverick straight hard and it was really hard lots of people dropped off glad I could stay in there, when I was getting tired matt really helped push me literally he pushed me... Legs feel really tired but good to get a hard run in.

Today we had a workout of 15 minutes hard on the dirt mile. I was ready for this and wanted to finish in the top 10 on the team. I took out a little too hard and died a little in the middle but pushed through it and started passing lots of people at about the mile mark. I ended up 11th on the team but I was really close to nick and dave, I am almost right were I want to be, I felt like I am getting good at pushing through the wall it only took me three years to figure it out. I went 2 miles and 654 meters

Well today the mile total was supposed to be 4, but at the end my watch said 6.5. Today we had our 30/30 workout and I was supposed to get 134 meters. It was all in all pretty easy, at about 25 it started hurting but at about 30 it was all mental. I got a good pacing down so that I would hit right on the mark every time, other than the time I fell flat on my butt in the slippery part and had to sprint to make my goal. Coach stopped us at 40, but i felt like I could have gone a lot longer if I had to.

Today we did 2xparkway hills. It was hard today we were going fast and it was really hot. The second one I had to push really hard but I stayed up with them, I was pushing so hard and the whole time thinking of some line from princess bride saying you will reach the top.

Had 3 mile repeats up on the dirt mile I was supposed to hit 7:47 which is basically like normal run pace. The first one I thought we were going so slow but we got 6:50 the next two were both 7:00. I know I shouldn't have gone that fast on these because this was only 80% when it gets up to 95% is the time to go fast.

Ran with kyler all the way down the dam road, because I couldn't make it all the way out to practice and be home in time. Felt really good we went quick we averaged just under 7 minute pace. I was really tired and sweaty at the end.

Fun run at night with abel krenshaw and Byron. Running at night is so much colder and it feels really nice! Was a fun quick run complete with some pool hopping and shakes.

Today we had 3 mile repeats. Its a really easy workout I was supposed to still hit 7:47 but hit 7:16 7:16 7:16 so it was a really consistent workout. My shoes  finally started to bug me I think its time to put them to rest after more than 1200 miles, my hip started aching a bit at the end

AM-7 4xdirt mile repeats. it was really easy and our times were consistent, by the last one my legs were a little fatigued. our times were 6:53 7:00 6:53 6:47. I am feeling great right now and getting lots of sleep and eating right and no injuries couldn't ask for more!

Today we had a grass run after about 10 laps my hip started hurting a lot but I think its because I was stuck on the really uneven part the entire run so at the end I stretched really good.

AM-6 Today we had our 30/30 workout, before I wasn't feeling to good I was really sore from a workout I did last night. As it got going it got better I kept feeling better and better each time. I made it all the way to 26 I was one of the very last people so that made me feel good!

Pm-3.5 I ran home from work, I went pretty fast but its mainly downhill. Perfect running weather outside today it seems.

Today was a nice long run out to middleton. I started out not feeling to great my hip bugged a bit but it went away after about 3 miles. Started our 2 mile tempo on the way back, im not used to going that fast even though it was only like 6 minute pace. I started dropping off on the hill and had a last surge to finish out the tempo, I don't think I have every ran a hill that fast.

Was going to go out to practice early so I could run meat grinders by myself and still make it back in time but I woke up late. So instead of running meat grinders I ran over to majestic view and ran up that hill a few times pretty hard I was totally beat, and i know its nothing compared to those hideous meat grinders.

Today we had mile repeats but we had 5 this time. the first two we were going slow but still under my pace im supposed to get it felt like we were jogging 7:29 7:29. The next one was good and we hit 7:00. After that josh and reed left so it was just me and colton and apparently we got a little antsy it didn't feel like we were going that fast 6:22. I then had to sprint home to make it to work I got home in enough time I decided to run another mile at my house that one was 7:02.

AM-7 Really hard hill workout down in hells hole. We had 4x1 minute and 6x30 seconds i stayed up with everybody fine on the minute ones then my stomach started bugging me so I didn't go as hard on the 30 seconds. I was so tired by the end of the run, my legs are really sore now.

AM-10 Today I woke up at 6 to run so I could get to work. It was a really peaceful just being by myself. I had a hard time pacing myself to go slow today, but I felt really good. All my times were fast today the last few I felt not as smooth but still not bad. my times were 6:45 6:46 6:47 6:40 6:30. Then the last one I was a little antsy for racing I guess 5:58. and right as I was done the team was just starting.

Pm-3 just nice and slow and easy, I didn't know we were supposed to run five until I got back and looked at the blog.

10- I ran with nate this morning, it was a really odd combo of running. First we started at this park and ran around it about 15 times to get three miles then we ran around a neighborhood until 5, then around the mountain to 9. Once we got back I did a few more loops around the park to get to 10, I think I almost killed nate I thought he was going to die. I looked at my watched and realized why our average pace was 7:10 which was pretty quick for him let alone for 9 miles. its hard running while everybody else is up at camp.

Pm-3 Ran a really slow 3 miles by myself. Didn't feel to good but I had just eaten that's probably why.

AM-7 Ran 7 Around the community where we are staying. It is right on the edge of a cliff and overlooks the whole city it is so beautiful. Running felt good my average pace was 7:35

AM-Woke up at 530 because we were leaving at 7 to go to the beach and the baseball game all day. Ran along the community again, but had to do several loops to hit my mileage. I felt really good on the 3 tempo because im at sea level. average pace was 6:05

Went running at 615 today because I had to drop off my Japanese student, this is the last week I have him then I can run with the team finally. Kyler came with me so I wouldn't have to run alone what a nice guy! I felt really tired going into the workout but the first two were alright 6:48 6:45 The third and fourth ones my hip hurt and I wasn't smooth at all 6:42 6:42 The next two kyler had something wrong with his stomach so we said we would go slower, it felt like we were going slower but nope 6:42 6:32. My legs were really tired after this workout but I felt like I got good times in, kind of nervous to start racing soon.

AM-10.5 Today we had 10 with 3.5 mile tempo. I had bad allergies and my eyes were all swollen and I didn't get much sleep so I wondered how it would go. we started out and it felt fine but I got talking to danny and before I knew it I was 10 feet off kyler and matt. I stayed 10 feet off the entire time so I kept the same pace. Our average was 6:10 so it was a nice push

Today I went biking with my dad. We went out around sand hollow, so there was lots of hills. I was super tired by the end it was 42 miles but I wanted to see how hard it was to run after. So I went out for 2.5 miles. It was hard for the first mile but then my legs eased into it and It didn't feel too bad. I think I might want to do a half ironman one day, if I ever learn to swim
